WALKER JUICER
Hatch Duo · 2020
Design Director · Kitchen Appliance

The Challenge: Most kitchen appliances dominate the counter, rarely get used, and become clutter. Our challenge was to design a compact, sustainable juicer that felt more like a curated object and less like a leftover appliance.

The Approach: I led the product strategy and design direction, working closely with Hatch Duo’s engineering team to prototype a low-profile form that could be disassembled quickly for cleaning. Removable wooden legs gave it both warmth and elevation, allowing it to live beautifully on the counter or store cleanly in a drawer.

The Outcome: The result was Walker 36—a compact, user-friendly juicer that solved bulk, mess, and visual clutter. Its simple construction, elegant form, and ease of use offered a fresh take on an everyday tool.
